Sanitation
The City of Marion's Water, Sewer & Sanitation bills are mailed by the 1st of each month. Payment is due by the 15th of each month.
The bills are for services received the previous month (i.e., January's bill is for use from November 15th to December 15th). Charges are based on actual water consumption and the number of green roll-out carts at the residence.
If your payment is not received by the 25th, a $10 late charge will be added to your account. Cut-offs begin the first business morning following the 25th.
Garbage Collection:
This service is provided for IN city residents only. Garbage must be in a roll-cart issued by the City of Marion. This charge of $18.75 is included in your monthly bill. A Recycling Center is on Bobby Gerald Parkway for city residents' use.
Garbage & Recycle pickups are on Wednesday if you live EAST of Main Street-Highway 501 and Thursday if you live WEST of Main Street-Highway 501.

City of Marion Dumpsters
Rates effective Aug. 28, 2009; Rates vary with size of dumpster and number of pick-ups.
A size "2" dumpster with 1 pick-up/week is $79; and A size "2" dumpster with 2 pick-ups/week is $122.38.
A size "4" dumpster with 1 pick-up/week is $124.95; A size "4" dumpster with 2 pick-ups/week is $209.58; and A size "4" dumpster with 3 pick-ups/week is $294.03.
A size "6" dumpster with 1 pick-up/week is $169.89; and A size "6" dumpster with 2 pick-ups/week is $294.84.
A size "8" dumpster with 1 pick-up/week is $214.78; A size "8" dumpster with 2 pick-ups/week is $380.38; and A size "8" dumpster with 3 pick-ups/week is $547.57.
Removal of brush, limbs, furniture, appliances, etc:
Do not place items on water meters! Items must be picked up separately and cannot be mixed. Pick-up is from at the curb only. The City is not responsible for property damage.
No contract work will be picked up. The Contractor is responsible for removal.
