Grants
Grants make Marion's money go further
The City of Marion has a grants writer who researches and pursues grant opportunities that are in line with the City's goals and who tracks the implementation of grants received by the city. At any given time the City is conducting the background work on two-three grants, applying for three or four grants, and administrating five to six grants.
State, federal, foundation and other grants help the City's limited resources go further. If you have questions regarding grants the City is pursuing, call Dianne Owens at 843-423-5961 or e-mail her at City Hall at dowens@marionsc.gov.
