Members of the Hugh Giles Regiment, Britton's Neck Militia, reenactors, conduct a musket firing on Main Street in Marion during this past year's FoxTrot Festival. March

16th: Referendum vote; Polls open 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; Absentee voting underway in the the Voter Registration office at  137 Airport Court; from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, until March 15. The referendum vote is on the City of Marion’s proposal to convey to the Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority its water and sewer systems. See story here.

2nd: City Hall closed: Observing Good Friday.

12th, Monday, 5:30 p.m.: Citizens Advisory Committee meeting, Fire Station, Bond Street

13th, Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.: City Council (each Second Tuesday of the Month), Council Chambers, City Hall, 107 S. Main Street.

1st, City-wide cleanup: City of Marion Tree Committee is planning this event and more details are forthcoming.
