Coming in September......

Community Farmers Market located at 109 Bobby Gerald Parkway (The Old Thomas & Howard Building) is open every Saturday for the summer months from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. until October.  We have a farmer that can accept the Senior Citizens Vouchers and WIC Vouchers.  We welcome anyone interested in setting up a booth for handcrafted items or locally grown produce to contact Nicole Brown at (843) 610-6246.

September 3rd Wednesday....8:30 a.m. Rise and Shine hosted by Marion County School District, 719 North Main Street.  Come support your school system as they kick off a new school year for our future leaders of America.

September 7th....Monday, Labor Day Holiday.  City Hall Closed.

September 8th....Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. City Council Meeting, Council Chambers.

September 9th....Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. Economic Outlook Luncheon, Woodhaven Restaurant.

September 11th....Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. HMRA Music on the Square with Jukebox Elly.  Bring a lawn chair and end your week relaxing to live music.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.  Proceeds benefit HMRA's Façade Improvement Grant Program for Downtown Marion.

September 25th-26th.....Friday & Saturday, 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. Inaugural Golden Leaf Festival BBQ Cook-off.
